About Dr. Andreasen Dr. Troy J. Andreasen, a skilled breast augmentation specialist, has been committed to providing personalized attention and maintaining the highest quality of service since 2001. This broad field attracted his attention when he was Golden Glove boxer, and became acquainted with a plastic surgeon who was also a boxer. As a result of this association, he went on to study in the field of plastic surgery for several years, immersing himself in this concentration. After finishing two years of religious missionary service, he completed medical school at the University of Utah. While in medical school, Dr. Andreasen developed advanced microsurgical skills while working under the direction of Graham Lister, a renowned hand surgeon. As a result of his efforts in microsurgical research, Dr. Andreasen was able to define the effects of trauma on microcirculation, which contributed to his notable accomplishments. He was awarded the highest achievement award from his alma mater and went on to graduate at the top of his medical school class. Chosen as one of the first medical school graduates in the United States to train in an integrated General Surgery/Plastic Surgery program which emphasized cosmetic surgery, Dr. Andreasen excelled in all areas of his training at Loma Linda University, including breast augmentation. He established himself as one of their premier plastic surgical trainees. Some of Dr. Andreasen’s particular interests included cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, body, as well as reconstructive surgery of the breasts. While at Loma Linda, he captained the Loma Linda Good Samaritan Plastic Surgery efforts in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Twice a year, this team offered reconstructive surgery services to impoverished children who would otherwise have no access to these procedures.
